   Jeremy grew up playing youth and high school hockey for the Sandstoners in Potsdam, NY.  He played two years of college hockey for SUNY Canton before transferring to Syracuse University in the ESCHL, where he was a 2023 Hockey Hall of Fame inductee.

Upon starting a family after moving to RI, he coached youth hockey for 9 years and ran several hockey/skating clinics.  He is keeping busy on the ice now providing power skating lessons for RI Elite Skating Academy.

Jeremy is a family man with his children growing up playing the sport.  He is a middle school science teacher in Cranston and has lots of experience working with children both on and off the ice.  He is excited to share is passion and knowledge with the future generation of players!!

 Ethan grew up playing youth hockey in RI for the Providence Hockey Club.  He was selected for the National Yankee Conference Camp for 3 years and was one of the best 2004 born players in New England.  From there he split his high school career spending 2 years playing for Ponaganset High School and then transferred to Worcester Academy t

 Ethan grew up playing youth hockey in RI for the Providence Hockey Club.  He was selected for the National Yankee Conference Camp for 3 years and was one of the best 2004 born players in New England.  From there he split his high school career spending 2 years playing for Ponaganset High School and then transferred to Worcester Academy to play prep hockey for another 3 years.  In that span he won the Conference Finals in his junior year which led him to become captain for his senior year.  Ethan has continued his education and hockey career at Niagara University where he is a going into his Junior year on the club hockey team. 

Ethan joined the academy in the spring of 2024 and he is looking forward to another season on the ice helping to develop the next generation of players!!

Maleah grew up playing hockey in RI, playing with the boys for most of her youth before splitting her high school career between La Salle Academy and the Walpole Express Juniors.  She went on to play college hockey at the University of Rhode Island, where she held leadership roles of Assistant Captain and Captain.  An offensive-minded def

Maleah grew up playing hockey in RI, playing with the boys for most of her youth before splitting her high school career between La Salle Academy and the Walpole Express Juniors.  She went on to play college hockey at the University of Rhode Island, where she held leadership roles of Assistant Captain and Captain.  An offensive-minded defenseman, Maleah is known for her puck carrying and ability to jump into play.

After graduating, Maleah brought her game overseas, fulfilling her hockey dream in Europe.  She has competed semi-professionally in Germany and Italy, and currently plays in Graz, Austria, in the European Women's Hockey League.  Alongside her own playing career, she is actively involved in the youth hockey organization in Graz, coaching beginners as well as U7 and U9 players.

Maleah joined RI Elite Skating Academy in the summer of 2025 after meeting Sara at a Valkyrie clinic, Maleah brings positivity and a genuine love for helping players develop their skills and confidence on the ice!

 Ellen is a former US Figure Skating competitor and coach.  As Sara's older sister, the duo grew up training and competing on the same skating team.  Ellen was a top competitor winning an international championship  as well as 4 national titles with her synchronized skating team. Ellen trained in the power skating disciplines of ice dancing and moves in field where she earned her Gold Level dances and Senior MIF skating tests - achieving the highest standards in US Figure Skating.  
Ellen is an experienced coach with over a decade of experience as a power skating instructor, her extensive education and background in technical skating is an asset to this all-star team! Ellen is excited to continue coaching for her second season with RI Elite Skating Academy! 

 Allison started skating at a very young age. She played for her town youth program in Massachusetts up until high school where she was on the varsity team freshman year through her senior year. 

 After high school she went on to play with the URI Women's Hockey program for 2 years  where she competed in Division 1 of the American Collegia

This is Allison's second season working with RI Elite Skating Academy where she offers 1:1 private power skating instruction as well as group classes.

Kate is a highly accomplished figure skating coach, leader, and USFS Gold Medalist with more than three decades of competitive coaching experience.  Beginning her skating journey in 1990, she enjoyed a decorated synchronized skating career, earning international gold medals in Sweden and England, becoming a 1997 Novice and 1999 Junior Nat

Kate is a highly accomplished figure skating coach, leader, and USFS Gold Medalist with more than three decades of competitive coaching experience.  Beginning her skating journey in 1990, she enjoyed a decorated synchronized skating career, earning international gold medals in Sweden and England, becoming a 1997 Novice and 1999 Junior National Champion, and earning multiple national Silver and Bronze medals alongside lifelong friends and sisters, Ellen (Roch) Sauco and Sara (Roch) Brayton. Kate also earned  her USFS Gold Medal in ice dancing.

A Magna Cum Laude graduate of Bryant University with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Psychology, Kate began coaching curing college and discovered a passion for helping athletes reach their full  potential.

Today she coaches throughout RI and MA . She is a Staff Coach at Mount Saint Charles Academy, and Coordinator of the Northern Mounties high school team-leading them to FOUR NEICC New England Championships.  She is also an Assistant Coach for Ocean State Ice Theater, and a private coach for hockey players and figure skaters.

Stella began skating at a very young age with the North Shore Skating Club in Reading, MA, where she became a double Gold Medalist in Skating Skills and Freestyle. With 10 years of competitive experience, Stella reached the national level, earning a 19th-place national ranking in the 2023 Novice National Showcase. Her passion for skating extends beyond competition—she began assisting with coaching at just 11 years old and has spent the past four years coaching figure skating and hockey athletes of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors.

Now a student at Bryant University, Stella is excited to continue growing as a coach while sharing her passion for skating with athletes at RI Elite Skating Academy. She is thrilled to bring her competitive experience, technical knowledge, and positive energy to the academy and looks forward to helping skaters build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their goals! 

Michaela comes from a true hockey family and started skating at just 3 years old, growing up watching and learning the game from her older brother and his friends as they developed their skills. She began competitive figure skating at age 6, skating in Cranston, Smithfield, and Warwick through age 14.

After transitioning from figure skating, Michaela continued her athletic career at Cranston High School East, where she competed on three varsity teams—Field Hockey as a goalie, Basketball, and Softball—while also playing club lacrosse.

After being recruited to play Division II field hockey in college, Michaela chose to pursue her dream of playing ice hockey instead. She became a member of the inaugural Saint Michael’s College Women’s Ice Hockey Team, playing from 1998–2001 as a center, defenseman, and forward. She helped the program transition from a club team to varsity status before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Sociology in 2002.

Michaela recently returned to Vermont to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Saint Michael’s College’s inaugural women’s ice hockey team, reconnecting with past and present players.

Over the past decade, she has continued playing competitive women’s hockey throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, participating in leagues and tournaments with teams including the RI Panthers, Homegrown Tomatoes, Massachusetts Lady Lobsters, Rhody Revivals, and the Central Mass Women’s Hockey League, where she has played for the past three seasons.

Outside of hockey, Michaela works full-time as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and outpatient therapist, supporting children, adolescents, and adults through challenging life experiences.

Michaela is entering her second season with RI Elite Skating Academy and brings a unique combination of competitive hockey experience, athletic versatility, education, and a passion for helping athletes grow both on and off the ice. 

Matthew grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, where he began playing hockey locally at age 10. Although hockey quickly became a major part of his life, skating was always his true passion. After spending his first two years playing hockey, Matthew expanded his skating experience by learning figure skating and ice dance, inspired by his

Matthew grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, where he began playing hockey locally at age 10. Although hockey quickly became a major part of his life, skating was always his true passion. After spending his first two years playing hockey, Matthew expanded his skating experience by learning figure skating and ice dance, inspired by his younger sister. Throughout his skating career, he has participated in numerous tournaments and showcases across the East Coast and Canada, developing a strong foundation in skating technique and performance. In 2021, Matthew moved to Massachusetts to further pursue his hockey career. He currently plays for the Bridgewater Bandits in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), continuing to develop his skills and pursue his goal of playing NCAA Division III hockey. Matthew brings a unique combination of hockey experience, figure skating knowledge, and a lifelong passion for skating to his coaching.
